Send the letter. Track the clock.
Something on your credit report looks wrong. You have the right to dispute it — and the credit bureau has a limited time to investigate. DisputeDesk writes the letter for you, and then counts the days so you never lose track of what happens next.
Free tier: 3 letters every month. No account, no card. Everything stays in your browser.
Disputing is free, but doing it right is hard
The process itself is public and free. The hard part is knowing what to write, where to send it, and what to do when the days start slipping away.
-
The letters are scattered
Free templates exist, but they are spread across government sites and blog posts, written in legal language, and none of them track what you sent or when.
-
The deadlines are invisible
After you send a dispute, a response clock starts. Miss the follow-up window and the item simply sits on your report while you assume something is happening.
-
Paid services cost a lot
Credit-repair companies charge $69–149 a month for work you can do yourself. By law they cannot promise a result — and neither do we.
One simple tool: write it, send it, track it
DisputeDesk is software. You stay in control of your own dispute — we handle the writing, the formatting and the clock.
What we do
- Turn your answers into a clear, printable dispute letter
- Give you the right version for each bureau: Equifax, Experian, TransUnion
- Count the days from the day you sent it and tell you what to do next
- Keep your notes with each dispute, stored in this browser only
- Point you to the bureaus' own free online dispute forms as well
What we never do
- We do not promise or imply any outcome
- We do not charge you before you can use what you paid for
- We do not upload your letters, documents or medical details to a server
- We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice
- We are not affiliated with the CFPB or any credit bureau
Three steps, about ten minutes
Answer a few questions
Pick the bureau and the kind of problem — wrong balance, duplicate collection, or a medical collection. Fill in your details and what happened.
Print or copy your letter
DisputeDesk builds the letter as plain text. Print it, copy it, and send it your way — mail with proof of delivery, or the bureau's own online form.
Track until it is resolved
Log the sent date. The tracker shows how many days have passed, what the status is, and the next action: wait, send a follow-up, or escalate.
Letters reference the bureaus' free official dispute forms and the free CFPB templates, so you can always use those instead.

Common questions
Are you a credit repair service or a law firm?
Neither. We are NOT a credit repair company — we are software. You write, send and track your own disputes. We do not act on your behalf, and we do not promise any result.
Do you send the letter for me?
No. You get the finished text and you choose how to send it: print and mail it with proof of delivery, or paste it into the bureau's own online dispute form. We show you both paths.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser, on your device — using local storage. There is no account and no server-side database. Your letters, documents and medical details never leave the browser.
What does the free plan include?
3 generated letters per calendar month plus the basic tracker. The counter resets automatically each month. Pro ($29/month) is planned and not yet for sale: it would add unlimited letters and the full tracker, plus a document vault and escalation playbooks that are not built yet — coming soon.
What happens when the bureau answers?
You update the status in the tracker: corrected, upheld, or still investigating. Each status gets its own next action, including requesting a re-investigation when an item is upheld.
Can I cancel, and do you refund?
Yes. Cancel anytime, and there is a 3-day refund on request after a charge. Billing starts when you activate Pro — details are on the pricing page.
